And the BAFTA for the WORST dressed goes to... The stars who didn't quite get it right on the TV awards' red carpet in London

The stars were out in force on Sunday night at London's Royal Festival Hall for the 62nd annual TV BAFTAs on the hottest day of the year.

But while the stars of the red carpet worked hard to get recognition for their sartorial displays, not everyone got it right.

(L-R) Fearne Cotton went for a dowdy yellow lace display complete with messy side plait, while Caroline Flack struggled to control the thigh-high splits on her plunging jumpsuit.

Michelle Keegan's House Of Fraser number lacked in colour and paled against some of the other choices, while Alesha Dixon's mustard keyhole number left little to the imagination.

Rochelle Humes' number ran the risk of a serious wardrobe malfunction due to its extreme thigh-split, while Ferne McCann went for a garish patterned maxi in clashing colours.
