Terrifying moment a convicted Polish rapist - who had been in Britain for just TWO DAYS - battered senseless a 52-year-old stranger before dragging him into road to be run over by a bus

Damien Pankiewicz, 37, inset, was jailed for 12 years after he randomly approached his victim at a bus stop in South London, centre and assaulted him for no reason before dragging him into the road, right, with the intention of throwing him under an oncoming bus.

Luckily, the vehicle stopped just in time, but the victim was hospitalised for three weeks with serious injuries.

He suffered bleeding on the brain, a broken leg and broken ribs as a result of the attack.

When arrested Pankiewicz head butted the window of a police car, smashing the window with his face and causing himself minor facial injuries.

However, after a trial at Inner London Crown Court, he was convicted of grievous bodily harm and has now been jailed. He will be deported following his sentence.
