Leicester City star Jeffrey Schlupp neglects mum of his young son for fashion designer

Jeffrey Schlupp was one of the Foxes crowned Premier League winners but he's apparently left his family for a new love.

One of Leicester City’s Premier League-winning stars has dumped the mum of his young son for a fashion designer.

Jeffrey Schlupp, 23, is believed to have walked out on long term girlfriend Callan Glover as the Foxes began their title run-in.

Now the defender, voted the club’s Young Player of the Year, is dating 24-year-old Amy Jackson. The pair were pictured enjoying a night out at a restaurant a week after his team’s triumph was confirmed.

Callan, 25, mum to the Ghanaian ­international’s two-year-old boy Arlo, is believed to be still living in the mansion they shared on the outskirts of Leicester.

She was said to be distraught after rumours of his new girl started to circulate in recent months. A source said: “Callan is still in the new house they bought last year, but Jeff has collected his belongings. It’s such a shame.”

Soon after his son was born, Schlupp posted a snap of Arlo with Callan on ­Instagram, saying “Family first”.

But the picture has now been deleted, and in cryptic Twitter messages Callan, 25, reveals her heartache. On March 5 she retweeted: “Loyalty doesn’t mean nothing to people any more.”

On April 20, after announcing plans to start a course at Leicester’s De Montfort University, she added: “Can’t wait for my life to begin.” On May 16, she said: “Sometimes rising above is the hardest thing”.

Just days earlier Amy, a fashion designer from Manchester, posted a snap of her and Jeffrey embracing. She added: “Majestic” and a picture of a love heart.

A source said: “Jeff is clearly infatuated. They’ve been very secretive so it’s hard to say how far it’s has gone. But it’s a kick in the teeth for Callan. Maybe success has gone to Jeff’s head.”

Schlupp is in Thailand ­celebrating with the team. Callan declined to comment.
