Holly asked Jennifer if she would like to stay on the show for another decade and she replied: 'I don't know. I've had the whole of my twenties doing a job I love which has been a dream.'
Turning their attentions to Zoe, who plays Reenie McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby asked her about her 'challenging storyline.'
Reenie's daughter Porsche recently revealed to Phoebe that her mother's boyfriend Pete sexually assaulted her when she was 15.
Zoe said of the story: 'We've been working with the NSPCC to talk about generational sexual abuse,' she said. 'It's so tragic and we're committed to telling the story truthfully.'
Holly asked Zoe if she's found it hard to switch off from the harrowing storyline.
She said: 'You do have to teach yourself to walk away. But in real life, they can never walk away. Believe me, I go back and have a few glasses of wine.'
Both Jennifer and Zoe joined co-star Charlie in urging viewers to vote for them at the upcoming awards with a succinct 15-second plea.
