'Where are we going to put them all?': Furious row erupts during first EU referendum TV debate after Brexit voter accuses migrants of 'jumping the housing queue' ahead of her disabled mother

Emily Wood (pictured main, and inset), from Poole, said her disabled mother could not get the council house she needs because immigrants are given priority.

She said: 'My mum is disabled and needs a bungalow. Immigrants are bumped up the list.

Am I right to want to leave?' She then clashed with other members of the audience and the panel, including ex SNP leader Alex Salmond (top right with Alan Johnson) who insisted: 'We should build more houses, not kick people out of the country'.

But Miss Wood said: 'How the heck are we meant to house them when we haven't got enough houses as it is?

Where are you going to put them?' Fellow audience member Asma (bottom right), from Aberdeen, weighed in and told Miss Wood: 'The EU is not some kind of scapegoat for you to keep blaming for your problems.

Just remember how immigrants like my family have built this nation'. The panel last night faced questions from under-30s in Glasgow, chaired by BBC host Victoria Derbyshire (left).
