When jeweller Andy Bush began dating Slovakian model Mayka Kukucova four years ago he seemed to have struck gold (together, inset).

At 22, Kukucova (left) was half his age - and beautiful. Bush never could have guessed how it would end.

Two years ago, she shot him dead, consumed by jealousy over his new relationship with university student Maria Korotaeva (right).

Today, Kukucova was found guilty of his murder - much to the relief of the jeweller's family.
