Ladies Day at Aintree turned raucous this afternoon after a day which saw champagne flowing from the moment the gates of the Merseyside racecourse opened.

Rose wine was also a popular choice among revellers (left and second from right) who appeared to be in high spirits after a day of drinking (centre).


Aintree Bosses this afternoon declared it was the 'most stylish Ladies Day in history', however some still opted for daring fashion choices including a Bollywood inspired ensemble (second from left) and cleavage baring gowns (right).
