Holly Willoughby and This Morning co-stars pay tribute to beloved agony aunt Denise Robertson (after broadcasting live from outside the church before the funeral)

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield (bottom right) today led a broadcast of This Morning live from the funeral of Denise Robertson (top right, pictured on the order of service) to give a 'fitting send off' to the late TV agony aunt.

The ITV presenters anchored the show from Sunderland Minster where Robertson's life is being remembered this afternoon (centre) following her death last month at 83 from pancreatic cancer.


They recalled fond memories of the agony aunt, and while Rylan Clark-Neal and Lorraine Kelly stood in for the duo back in the London studio.

Willoughby said: 'This Morning is such a family show and she was the matriarch.' Fellow hosts Eamonn Holmes and his wife Ruth Langsford are also attending the service.
