Thousands of well-wishers broke into an impromptu rendition of 'Happy Birthday' as the Queen arrived to mark her 90th with her subjects in Windsor this morning.
Devoted supporters draped in Union flags and clutching giant balloons sung 'Happy Birthday dear Queenie' as the Coldstream Guards' band trumpeted out the celebratory tune.
Accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh, the Queen spent time meeting cheering children and colourfully-dressed adults on foot (top and bottom right) before continuing her tour of the town on the open-back top of a custom-built Range Rover (pictured left).
The milestone will be marked with a number of events across the county, culminating in a private black tie dinner hosted by Prince Charles for close friends and family.
